Who Was That Masked Man?
A retired professor living in Phoenix, Arizona, decides to go down to Mexico, by horse, dressed as the Lone Ranger, accompanied by a somewhat faithful Native American companion, to rescue a Mexican señorita from the evil narcotraficantes in the border town of Santa Teresa.
Geronimo's Cave
A community college instructor in Phoenix decides to leave everything and sit in a cave deep in the Superstition Mountains, though he receives a series of visitors, living and not-so, that try to talk him out of it.
Rust
A twelve year old boy finds the body of a murdered teenage girl. Four college students try to track down an underground poet factory worker living in obscurity. A soldier returns from Iraq after losing both of her legs. A Spanish teacher becomes involved with one of his students. Intersecting stories about people living in Jackson, a Rust Belt city in Michigan.
